Frequently asked questions

My subscription isn't being recognized.

Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used to purchase. In ZenGen, open Profile → Billing → Manage Subscription, or tap Restore on the upgrade screen. If you just subscribed, fully close and reopen the app so it can re-check your entitlement.

How does billing work, and what happens if I cancel?

ZenGen Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the current billing period — it doesn't end immediately. You can cancel anytime from Profile → Billing → Revert to Free, or in your Apple ID subscription settings.

The meditation audio won't play.

Check that your device isn't on silent/Do Not Disturb, your volume is up, and you've allowed microphone access (Settings → ZenGen). If audio stops when your screen locks, make sure ZenGen has permission to play in the background.

I lost my streak.

Streaks continue when you meditate on consecutive days. Missing a day resets the streak unless you have a Streak Freeze available (Premium). You can buy Streak Freezes from your Profile.

I've hit my daily limit.

The free tier includes one session per day. Premium unlocks up to 15 minutes per day across multiple sessions, audio replay, and AI Journey insights. Limits reset at midnight in your local time.

I can't sign in.

ZenGen uses Sign in with Apple. If you're stuck, check your internet connection and that you're signed into iCloud, then try again. Still stuck? Message us below.

How do I delete my account and data?

In ZenGen, go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers within 30 days. You can also email us to request deletion.
